Dr. Harleen Quinzel, better known as Harley Quinn, is a fictional character appearing in media produced by DC Entertainment. Initially introduced in Batman: The Animated Series in September 1992, she gained immense popularity and was subsequently integrated into DC Comics' main continuity.

Harley Quinn's origins lie in her profession as a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, where she was assigned to treat the Joker. She became infatuated with him, eventually assisting in his escapes and adopting the persona of Harley Quinn, his devoted accomplice and lover.
