Dr. Harleen Quinzel, more famously known as Harley Quinn, is a prominent character in DC Comics media. She debuted in the animated television series Batman: The Animated Series in the episode "Joker's Favor" (1992) before being integrated into the broader DC Universe.

Initially a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, Harleen became infatuated with the Joker, ultimately falling in love and transforming into his accomplice and romantic interest, Harley Quinn. Her personality is characterized by a manic, hyperactive demeanor, often bordering on the psychotic.

In various iterations, Harley’s relationship with the Joker is portrayed as abusive and manipulative.
