CT-5555, nicknamed "Hardcase," was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. A member of the 501st Legion, he was known for his impulsive and reckless behavior, as well as his exceptional skill with heavy weaponry, particularly Z-6 rotary blaster cannons.
Hardcase often challenged authority and disregarded orders, motivated by a strong desire to protect his brothers. This often led to clashes with superior officers, despite his unwavering loyalty to the Republic.
His most notable act of heroism occurred during the Battle of Umbara. Facing an insurmountable enemy blockade, Hardcase, along with fellow clone troopers Fives and Jesse, destroyed a Separatist supply ship, sacrificing himself in the process. This act of self-sacrifice was instrumental in securing a Republic victory and solidified his status as a hero within the 501st.
