Biography:
Clone Troopers (Phase 2) were the backbone of the Galactic Republic's Grand Army during the Clone Wars, as depicted in the Star Wars Prequels. Their first prominent appearance was in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.
Genetically engineered clones of bounty hunter Jango Fett, they were created on Kamino and trained from birth for combat. The Phase 2 armor represented an upgrade from the earlier Phase 1 design, offering improved protection and functionality.
These troopers served under the command of Jedi Generals and played a critical role in countless battles across the galaxy. However, their loyalty was ultimately subverted by Palpatine's Order 66, leading to the downfall of the Jedi Order and the rise of the Galactic Empire. Star Wars: The Bad Batch depicts Clone Troopers immediately after Order 66.
