The Clone Assassin, also known as ARC Trooper CT-5555, or "Fives," was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. He distinguished himself from his clone brethren through his individualism and dedication to uncovering the truth.
Fives began his service with the Domino Squad, often struggling with teamwork and conformity. However, he eventually proved his worth and was promoted to ARC Trooper following a successful defense of the Rishi Moon Outpost.
His most significant contribution came with his investigation into the death of Tup, another clone trooper, which revealed the existence of a biochip implanted in all clone brains. Fives uncovered the chip's purpose: to enforce Order 66, a secret contingency order to eliminate the Jedi Order.
While Fives attempted to warn the Jedi of this treachery, his frantic behavior and incomplete evidence led them to believe he was suffering from a virus. He was ultimately killed during an encounter with Commander Fox, dying to protect the secret, and tragically unable to fully expose the conspiracy.
