The Green Goblin, as seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film Spider-Man: No Way Home, is a version of Norman Osborn originating from an alternate reality.

This Green Goblin, portrayed by Willem Dafoe, is pulled into the MCU as a result of a spell gone awry. He is the same Green Goblin from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy. Driven mad by an experimental performance enhancing serum, Norman Osborn becomes the villainous Green Goblin.

His first appearance within the MCU is in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), although he originally appeared in the film Spider-Man (2002). In No Way Home, the Goblin's influence causes Norman to battle his own identity as he attempts to suppress his villainous impulses, until they give way to chaos and violence. He quickly becomes a threat to both Spider-Man and the other displaced villains.
