Carnage is a fictional character appearing in media adapted from Marvel Comics. He is primarily portrayed as a supervillain.

Carnage is most often depicted as the offspring of the Venom Symbiote. This makes Carnage even more lethal and unpredictable than his predecessor. The Symbiote grants its host enhanced strength, speed, and the ability to shape-shift, forming weapons and other extensions of its body.

The character's first full appearance was in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #361 (1992).

When Cletus Kasady bonds with the Symbiote he amplifies the violent tendencies. He becomes a ruthless serial killer with immense power.
