Biography:

Carnage is a supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily as an adversary of Spider-Man and Venom. He is a sentient symbiote, similar in origin to Venom, but far more ruthless and psychopathic.

Carnage's first full appearance was in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #361 (April 1992). The symbiote bonded with serial killer Cletus Kasady, amplifying his already violent tendencies and creating a being of pure chaos.

The Carnage symbiote grants Kasady superhuman strength, speed, durability, and the ability to shapeshift and generate bladed weapons from his body. Unlike Venom, the Carnage symbiote is permanently bonded to Kasady's bloodstream, making separation incredibly difficult. His powers and lack of remorse make him an extremely dangerous foe.
