Biography:
Carnage is a Marvel Comics supervillain, primarily an enemy of Spider-Man. He is a symbiote, similar to Venom, but far more violent and psychopathic.
Carnage's origin is tied to the serial killer Cletus Kasady. While Eddie Brock (Venom's host) was incarcerated, the Venom symbiote briefly returned to bond with him. It then spawned an offspring symbiote that bonded with Kasady, creating Carnage.
Carnage first appeared in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #360 (1992). The Carnage symbiote enhances Kasady's already dangerous personality, making him an unpredictable and extremely powerful threat. Kasady enjoys senseless violence and destruction.
