Biography:
Carnage is a supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily as an enemy of Spider-Man and Venom. He is a symbiote, similar to Venom, but far more violent and psychopathic.
Carnage's first appearance was in The Amazing Spider-Man #360 (March 1992). The symbiote bonded with Cletus Kasady, a serial killer, while they were cellmates in prison. This bond transformed Kasady into Carnage.
Unlike Venom's somewhat conflicted morality, Carnage embraces chaos and destruction. He sees murder as an art form and lacks any sense of remorse. This makes him an extremely dangerous and unpredictable foe.
