Biography:

Carnage is a Marvel Comics supervillain, an offshoot of the Venom symbiote.

He is most notably bonded to the sociopathic serial killer Cletus Kasady, acting as a dark mirror to Venom's more anti-heroic tendencies. Carnage is far more violent and chaotic, delighting in indiscriminate destruction.

Carnage's first appearance was in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #361 (April 1992) as Cletus Kasady, but he appears as the symbiote in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #360.
