Biography:

Carnage is a supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily as an adversary of Spider-Man and Venom. He is a sentient alien symbiote, similar to Venom, but far more violent and sadistic.

Carnage's first appearance was in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #361 (April 1992).

The symbiote bonded with serial killer Cletus Kasady, amplifying his homicidal tendencies and transforming him into a highly dangerous and unpredictable foe. Carnage possesses similar abilities to Spider-Man and Venom, but with enhanced strength, speed, and the ability to form bladed weapons.

Unlike Venom, who often has a sense of honor or a desire to protect innocents, Carnage is purely evil and revels in chaos and destruction, making him one of Spider-Man's most formidable and terrifying enemies.
