Teen Groot is a fictional character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), a teenage form of the tree-like alien Groot. He is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

This version of Groot emerged after Groot seemingly sacrificed himself in the first *Guardians of the Galaxy* film. A sapling was recovered and grown, resulting in a Groot with a drastically different personality, going through an adolescent phase.

Teen Groot's first appearance was in *Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2* (2017), where he is portrayed as a disobedient and video game-obsessed teenager. He then appears as a more mature member of the team during *Infinity War* (2018).
