Teen Groot is a fictional character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He is the adolescent form of Groot, a sentient tree-like being.

Following Groot's apparent death in the first *Guardians of the Galaxy* Movie, a sapling was recovered and replanted. This sapling grew into Teen Groot, a character with a notably different personality than his predecessor. He is often depicted as moody, rebellious, and absorbed in video games.

Teen Groot first appears in *Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2* (2017), where he is portrayed as a typical teenager going through puberty, much to the frustration of Star-Lord.
