Teen Groot, portrayed through motion capture and voice acting, is a character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), specifically a teenage version of the extraterrestrial, tree-like being Groot.

This iteration of Groot emerged after the events of *Guardians of the Galaxy*, where the adult Groot sacrificed himself to save his teammates. A sapling grown from a piece of Groot survived and developed into a smaller version, often referred to as Baby Groot. Over time, this Baby Groot matured into a moody, video game-playing adolescent.
