Biography:

Edward Scissorhands is a fictional character from the eponymous film, Edward Scissorhands, released in 1990. He was portrayed by Johnny Depp.

Edward is an artificial humanoid created by an eccentric inventor (Vincent Price), who dies before completing him, leaving Edward with scissor blades for hands. He is discovered living alone in the inventor's mansion by Peg Boggs, an Avon saleswoman, who takes him home to live with her family.

Edward's unique scissor hands make him adept at topiary and hairstyling, earning him popularity within the suburban community. However, his unconventional appearance and inability to physically express himself without causing harm lead to misunderstandings and ultimately, tragedy.
