Biography:

Carnage is a supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily as an enemy of Spider-Man and Venom. He is a sentient Symbiote, similar to Venom, but far more powerful and ruthless.

Carnage's origin is tied to the Venom Symbiote. When Eddie Brock (Venom's host) was incarcerated, the Venom Symbiote later broke him out of prison. During the breakout, the Symbiote asexually reproduced, leaving behind its offspring. This offspring then bonded with Cletus Kasady, a psychopathic serial killer and Eddie's cellmate.

As Kasady was a natural sociopath and killer, the Carnage Symbiote amplified these dark tendencies. Carnage is significantly stronger and more volatile than Venom. He is known for his chaotic and murderous rampages, often without any clear motive beyond causing destruction. Carnage's first appearance was in The Amazing Spider-Man #360.
