CT-7567, better known as Captain Rex, was a clone trooper officer in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Serving under Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, Rex distinguished himself through his unwavering loyalty, tactical prowess, and care for his men.
Rex participated in numerous key battles throughout the war, developing a close bond with Skywalker and Tano, often challenging protocol and regulations when he believed it was right. He even removed his inhibitor chip before Order 66, alerting some of his brethren of the true mission.
Following the rise of the Galactic Empire, Rex, along with Commander Wolffe and Gregor, removed their inhibitor chips and sought refuge on the remote planet Seelos, living in a modified AT-TE walker. On Seelos, they were found by Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, and Ahsoka Tano who were being hunted by the empire. Later, Rex joined the Rebel Alliance, using his experience to help fight against the Empire. He eventually fought in the Battle of Endor.
