Biography:

Wade Wilson, known as Deadpool, is a fictional character from the Marvel universe. First appearing in the movie *X-Men Origins: Wolverine*. The character is also the main character of the hit movies *Deadpool* and *Deadpool 2*.

Wade is a mercenary subjected to the Weapon X program in an attempt to cure his cancer, it gives him accelerated healing. This healing comes at a terrible price. After the procedure he became hideously scarred.

Deadpool is known for breaking the fourth wall, frequently addressing the audience and acknowledging his fictional nature. He is a Funny Hero with a dark past, employing humor and sarcasm even in the most dire situations. This makes him an unpredictable and often inappropriate, yet strangely endearing, figure.
