Biography:

Wade Wilson, known as Deadpool, is a Marvel character portrayed by Ryan Reynolds in the cinematic X-Men universe. He first appeared, though significantly altered, in X-Men Origins: Wolverine before receiving his own standalone films.

Wilson is a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary who develops terminal cancer. Desperate, he undergoes a procedure promising to activate mutant abilities and provide a cure. While seemingly successful in granting him regenerative healing abilities, the process leaves him severely scarred and mentally unstable.

As Deadpool, Wilson adopts a red and black suit and becomes a wisecracking anti-hero. He frequently breaks the fourth wall, directly addressing the audience and referencing pop culture. His fighting style is chaotic and unpredictable, utilizing swords, guns, and his mutant powers in often absurd and violent ways. Deadpool's motivations are generally self-serving, but he occasionally finds himself fighting for a greater good, albeit in his own unorthodox manner.
