Roy William Harper Jr. is a fictional character in The CW's "Arrowverse," primarily appearing in the TV show *Arrow*. He's portrayed by actor Colton Haynes.
Roy's first appearance in the Arrowverse is in *Arrow* season , episode , "Dodger" as a street criminal who eventually becomes involved with Oliver Queen and Team Arrow.
Initially, Roy is taken under Oliver's wing and trained to fight crime. He later adopts the moniker Arsenal, becoming a skilled archer and martial artist.
Throughout the series, Roy struggles with his past and the effects of the Mirakuru serum, which grants him enhanced strength but also uncontrollable rage. He eventually leaves Starling City to find his own path but makes recurring appearances to assist Team Arrow.
