Waylon Jones, better known as Killer Croc, debuted in Batman #357 (March 1983). He suffers from a rare genetic condition resembling epidermolytic hyperkeratosis, giving him a reptilian appearance. Over time, this condition worsened, enhancing his strength, speed, and durability while further distorting his features.
Initially a sideshow performer and small-time criminal, Croc's bestial attributes and growing mental instability led him to become a major threat in Gotham City. He often resides in the sewers, preying on anyone who crosses his path.
Killer Croc is often portrayed as a formidable physical opponent, capable of challenging Batman. He has also been a member of the Suicide Squad.
