Waylon Jones, better known as Killer Croc, is a DC Comics character first appearing in Batman #357 (1983).
Born with a rare form of atavism that caused him to develop reptilian features, Jones suffered a difficult childhood marked by social ostracization. As his condition worsened, he embraced his monstrous appearance, turning to a life of crime.
His mutated physiology grants him superhuman strength, enhanced durability, and razor-sharp claws. Croc also possesses heightened senses, making him a formidable opponent, especially in his preferred environment: the sewers of Gotham City.
