Waylon Jones, also known as Killer Croc, is a formidable villain in the DC universe.
Born with a rare genetic condition resembling epidermolytic hyperkeratosis, Jones' skin developed a thick, scale-like appearance. This condition worsened over time, leading to his reptilian transformation and the adoption of the Killer Croc persona.
Killer Croc first appears in Detective Comics #523 (1983).
Physically imposing, Killer Croc possesses superhuman strength, agility, and durability. His reptilian hide provides natural armor, and his sharp claws and teeth make him a dangerous opponent in close combat.
In some interpretations, such as those found in certain animated series, Killer Croc is depicted with a more tan lizard-like appearance, and often resides in sewers.
