Waylon Jones, better known as Killer Croc, is a DC Comics villain and frequent adversary of Batman. He first appeared in Batman #357 in March 1983.
Born with a rare form of atavism, Waylon's skin is covered in scales, giving him a reptilian appearance. This condition has progressively worsened over time, transforming him into a more crocodile-like creature with increased strength, durability, and regenerative abilities.
Initially a carnival sideshow attraction, Croc turned to a life of crime, using his brute strength and animalistic cunning to establish himself as a powerful figure in Gotham City's underworld. His primary motivations are power and control.
