Waylon Jones, more commonly known as Killer Croc, is a DC Comics supervillain and frequent adversary of Batman. A metahuman suffering from a rare form of atavism, he possesses reptilian characteristics including hardened, scale-like skin, heightened strength, and razor-sharp claws.
Born with a mutation causing his skin to resemble that of a crocodile, Jones endured a childhood marked by social isolation and prejudice. Abandoned by his mother and raised by an abusive aunt, he eventually turned to a life of crime to survive.
