Red Daughter of Krypton is an alternate version of Supergirl from DC Comics' New 52 continuity on the Prime Earth.
Her first appearance is in Supergirl #31 (December 2014) as part of the "Red Daughter of Krypton" storyline. This version of Kara Zor-El is exposed to a Red Lantern power ring after a battle with the Worldkillers.
The ring corrupts her, amplifying her anger and turning her into a Red Lantern. As Red Daughter, she displays increased aggression and a reliance on rage-fueled abilities. She even appears in the *Lego Batman Beyond Gotham* game as a version of Supergirl which is likely inspired by the events of this comic storyline.
She is ultimately freed from the ring's influence, but the experience leaves a lasting impact on her, forcing her to confront the darkness within herself.
