Adrian Toomes, portrayed by Michael Keaton, is the Vulture in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He first appears in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Toomes owns a salvage company contracted to clean up after the Battle of New York. However, Damage Control, a joint venture between Tony Stark and the U.S. government, terminates his contract. Embittered, Toomes and his crew turn to weaponizing the salvaged Chitauri technology, creating advanced weaponry, including a flight suit that becomes the Vulture armor.
As the Vulture, Toomes becomes a criminal kingpin, selling his weapons on the black market. His activities bring him into conflict with Spider-Man. In a twist, Toomes is revealed to be the father of Peter Parker's prom date, Liz.
