Biography:
Adrian Toomes, better known as the Vulture, is a Marvel Comics supervillain and recurring antagonist of Spider-Man. He is often portrayed as one of Spider-Man's oldest and most cunning foes.
Toomes was originally an electrical engineer and businessman who co-founded an electronics company with his partner, Gregory Bestman. After discovering Bestman was embezzling funds, Toomes was betrayed and left penniless.
Embittered and seeking revenge, Toomes used his engineering skills to create a special electromagnetic harness that granted him the power of flight and enhanced strength. He adopted the persona of the Vulture, using his newfound abilities to terrorize New York City and target those he felt had wronged him.
The Vulture's suit gives him the power of flight, enhanced strength and durability, and greatly extends his lifespan. Though his aging body presents certain vulnerabilities, his intellect and experience make him a formidable opponent. He has been a member of various villainous teams, including the Sinister Six.
