Adrian Toomes, portrayed by Michael Keaton, is the Vulture in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He first appears in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017).
Toomes is initially the owner of a salvage company contracted to clean up after the Battle of New York. When Damage Control, a joint venture between Tony Stark and the U.S. government, takes over, Toomes loses his livelihood and becomes embittered.
He and his crew turn to manufacturing and selling weapons using salvaged Chitauri technology. Toomes designs a powered flight suit with large mechanical wings, becoming the Vulture. He uses his aerial abilities to steal and distribute his illicit weaponry. His criminal activities bring him into conflict with Spider-Man.
