Adrian Toomes, portrayed by Michael Keaton, is the Vulture in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Toomes is a former salvage company owner who turned to crime after being put out of business by Damage Control, Tony Stark's cleanup organization. He uses advanced Chitauri technology, scavenged after the Battle of New York, to create a winged suit and becomes a high-flying thief.
His first appearance in the MCU is in the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming. As Vulture, Toomes leads a crew in selling weapons made from alien technology, becoming a major threat to Spider-Man.
Though defeated by Spider-Man, Toomes protects Spider-Man's identity when confronted in prison, showing a complex and arguably honorable side to his character.
