Robbie Reyes is a version of the Marvel character Ghost Rider, who gained prominence through his depiction in the TV show, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
While the comic book character debuted in All-New Ghost Rider #1 (2014), the popularity of Robbie Reyes exploded with his appearance in the series. Here, Robbie, a young man from East Los Angeles, becomes bound to the spirit of Eli Morrow, a vengeful ghost.
Unlike other Ghost Riders who are possessed by the Spirit of Vengeance, Robbie's transformation comes from Eli. He drives a modified 1969 Dodge Charger that becomes engulfed in hellfire when he transforms. Robbie's appearance on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. helped cement his place in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.
