Vision is an android character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). His first on-screen appearance was in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
Created by Ultron to serve as a synthetic body, Vision ultimately gained consciousness and sided with the Avengers. He was "born" when the Mind Stone, one of the powerful Infinity Stones, was embedded in his forehead, granting him immense power and intelligence.
Vision possessed a unique physiology, capable of manipulating his density, flying, and projecting energy beams from the Mind Stone. He developed a romantic relationship with Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch), further complicating his existence as a sentient being. Tragically, Vision was ultimately killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War (2018), who sought the Mind Stone to complete the Infinity Gauntlet.
