Vision (MCU), portrayed by Paul Bettany, is an android character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This version of Vision is a synthezoid created by Ultron, using Helen Cho's technology, vibranium, and the Mind Stone. Originally intended as a body for Ultron, he was seized by the Avengers and imbued with a semblance of consciousness by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, who used a matrix derived from J.A.R.V.I.S.

His first appearance in the MCU was in the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron.

After his initial creation, Vision becomes romantically involved with Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch). The Disney+ series WandaVision explores their relationship and the subsequent consequences of Vision's death at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. The show features Wanda creating a reality where Vision is alive, leading to the manifestation of a new version of Vision within her created reality.
