Vision (Victor Shade) is an android Avenger, originally created by Ultron to destroy the team. However, he defied his programming and joined the Avengers, becoming a powerful force for good.
He possesses superhuman strength, speed, density control (allowing him to become intangible or incredibly dense), and the ability to fire solar energy beams from his forehead. His android body makes him incredibly durable.
Vision served with the West Coast Avengers for a time, where he underwent significant trauma when his emotions and personality were altered by rogue elements. This affected his relationships, including his marriage to the Scarlet Witch.
While the Vision who was a husband to Wanda Maximoff and a core Avenger no longer exists in the same form, versions and aspects of him have returned.
