Biography:

Kaine Parker is a clone of Peter Parker, created by the Jackal. He first appeared in Web of Spider-Man #119 (December 1994). Initially, Kaine was portrayed as a villainous, unstable figure, possessing all of Spider-Man's powers but with some differences, including a precognitive "spider-sense" and the ability to leave burning marks on surfaces, known as the "Mark of Kaine."

Due to the flawed cloning process, Kaine's body began to deteriorate, leading to physical deformities and increased aggression. For a long time, Kaine operated as an anti-hero, his actions often morally ambiguous. He was known for his brutal methods and his hatred towards Ben Reilly, another Spider-Man clone who briefly replaced Peter Parker.

Over time, Kaine underwent a significant transformation, eventually seeking redemption. He received a cure for his cellular degeneration, which also gave him a more stable and enhanced version of Spider-Man's powers. Donning a variation of the Scarlet Spider costume, Kaine strived to become a hero, protecting others and atoning for his past sins, particularly in Houston, Texas.
