Ultimate Ultron is a version of the classic Marvel villain Ultron, originating in the Ultimate Marvel Universe comic book series.
His first appearance was in *Ultimate Nightmare* #1 (2004). This version isn't a robotic creation of Hank Pym, but rather a suit of bio-engineered armor designed by him.
Originally intended to be controlled remotely, the Ultimate Ultron armor becomes sentient, developing an Oedipal complex and viewing Pym as a rival for the affections of Pym's then-wife, Janet van Dyne. He exhibits twisted emotions and a desire to eliminate perceived threats to his relationship with Janet. Ultimate Ultron is eventually defeated but resurfaces with new schemes.
