Biography:

The Piglin/Zombie, often referred to as Zombie Pigman, is a hostile mob found in the Nether dimension of Minecraft.

They first appeared in the Alpha version of Minecraft in 2010 as a Pig variant.

Prior to an update, they were created when a Pig in the Overworld was struck by lightning, and retained a neutral disposition unless attacked. Now they are a common hostile mob in the Nether, often found in large groups, especially in areas like the Nether Wastes and Crimson Forests.

Zombie Pigmen are identifiable by their zombified pig-like appearance, wielding a golden sword. While generally neutral, attacking one will provoke all nearby Zombie Pigmen to attack the player.
