Biography:

Zombie, a common hostile mob in the sandbox video game Minecraft, first appeared in the initial alpha version released in 2009. As its name suggests, the Zombie is an undead creature, visually characterized by its green skin, tattered clothing, and vacant stare.

Zombies are a persistent threat to players, spawning in dimly lit areas at night and in caves. They shamble slowly towards the player, attempting to inflict damage through melee attacks. While individually not particularly strong, their tendency to appear in groups can overwhelm unprepared players.

Zombies possess a limited AI, primarily focused on detecting and attacking players, villagers, and turtles. Notably, they are vulnerable to sunlight, which causes them to burn and eventually perish unless they find shade or are wearing a helmet. They may also drop rotten flesh upon defeat, a food item with a high chance of causing food poisoning.
