Baby Zombie/Zombie (Minecraft) is a variant of the standard Zombie enemy found in the popular sandbox video game, Minecraft. This hostile mob shares the same decaying appearance as its adult counterpart but in a smaller, child-like form.

Baby Zombies were first introduced in the Beta 1.9 Prerelease build of Minecraft, alongside other zombie variants. They are significantly faster than regular Zombies, making them a more challenging opponent. They can also fit through one-block high spaces, allowing them to pursue players in areas adult Zombies cannot reach.

One notable characteristic is that Baby Zombies do not despawn in daylight, unlike adult Zombies, making them a persistent threat. They can also ride other mobs, creating unexpected and dangerous combinations. Baby Zombies can be equipped with armor and weapons, further increasing their threat level.
