Jango Fett is a skilled Mandalorian bounty hunter appearing in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, specifically introduced in Star Wars: Episode 2 – Attack of the Clones.
He was considered one of the most formidable bounty hunters in the galaxy, renowned for his combat skills, marksmanship, and use of a jetpack. Fett was selected as the genetic template for the clone army of the Republic, created on Kamino.
In exchange for his genetic material, Jango requested a significant payment and an unaltered clone for himself, whom he named Boba Fett and raised as his son. He was killed during the Battle of Geonosis by Mace Windu.
