Jango Fett is a Mandalorian bounty hunter introduced in *Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones* (2002), part of the Star Wars Prequels trilogy.
He was considered one of the most skilled bounty hunters in the galaxy, known for his combat prowess, use of a jetpack, and iconic Mandalorian armor.
Fett was selected by Count Dooku to be the genetic template for the clone army of the Republic, in exchange for a substantial payment. He requested one unaltered clone for himself, named Boba Fett, whom he raised as his son.
Jango Fett met his demise during the Battle of Geonosis, at the hands of Mace Windu.
