Biography:
Godspeed is a supervillain in DC Comics, primarily associated with the Flash. His real name is August Heart, a detective and friend to Barry Allen.
August gained his powers during a Speed Force storm that affected Central City, becoming a "Gilded Speedster." Unlike the Flash, Godspeed was willing to use lethal force, believing it to be necessary for justice.
Godspeed first appears in *The Flash* Vol. 5 #1 (August 2016) . His "Pad Printed" costume distinguishes him from other speedsters, featuring white and gold armor-like design.
He became a significant threat to the Flash, forcing Barry to confront his own moral code and the potential consequences of using speed. August Heart became a complex villain who questions the hero and raises difficult issues on the nature of justice.
