Godspeed, also known as August Heart, is a DC Comics character who first appeared in The Flash: Rebirth #1 (2016). He is a supervillain and a speedster, possessing abilities similar to the Flash, including super speed and the ability to tap into the Speed Force.
Heart was a detective and Barry Allen's friend who sought to understand and control his newfound speedster powers. However, his methods were ruthless, leading him to kill other speedsters to absorb their Speed Force and increase his own abilities.
Driven by a desire for justice and vengeance for his brother's murder, Godspeed became a vigilante, but his extreme actions put him at odds with the Flash. He can create multiple "speed clones" of himself, each capable of independent action. Godspeed serves as a formidable and morally ambiguous adversary for the Flash, representing the dangers of unchecked power and the blurred lines between justice and revenge.
