Hulk (Sakaaran Champion) is a version of Bruce Banner's Hulk who spent an extended period of time on the planet Sakaar. He arrived on Sakaar due to the machinations of the Illuminati, a secret group of superheroes who deemed the Hulk too dangerous for Earth.
On Sakaar, Hulk was enslaved and forced to fight in gladiatorial combat. His immense strength and rage quickly made him a champion in the arena, earning him the title of Sakaaran Champion and the moniker "Green Scar." He became a powerful and respected figure among the Sakaaran people.
This version of Hulk is significantly more intelligent and strategic than his usual incarnation, capable of forming alliances and even ruling as a king. His experiences on Sakaar hardened him, making him a more brutal and calculating warrior. He developed strong bonds with his Warbound teammates, a group of fellow gladiators who fought alongside him.
Driven by a desire for vengeance against those who sent him to Sakaar, the Sakaaran Champion Hulk eventually returned to Earth, initiating the World War Hulk storyline.
