Hulk (BigFig)
Basename:
Hulk
Brand:
SH
Serial:
3001
Year:
2019
Theme:
Marvel
Notes:
After being bombarded with a massive dose of gamma radiation while saving a young man's life during the testing of an experimental bomb, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner was transformed into the Incredible Hulk: a green behemoth who is the living personification of rage and pure physical strength.
MCU version Robert Bruce Banner, M.D., Ph.D., is a renowned scientist and a founding member of the Avengers. As someone who was highly respected for his work regarding biochemistry, nuclear physics, and gamma radiation, he was commissioned by Thaddeus Ross to recreate the Super Soldier Serum which created Captain America, although Ross elected not to inform Banner what he was creating. However, when an exposure to high levels of gamma radiation instead of vita radiation went awry, the mild-mannered scientist had found that when angered, provoked or excited, he would transform into the huge, rage-fueled, nearly mindless creature known as Hulk.
Hulk (BigFig) is a LEGO minifigure representation of the Marvel character Hulk, specifically designed as a larger "BigFig" figure.
Based on his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this version of Hulk typically reflects his depiction in the MCU films.
The first appearance of a Hulk BigFig in a LEGO set was likely tied to the release of an MCU movie featuring Hulk. These BigFigs are often included in LEGO sets depicting key scenes or battles from the films, allowing fans to recreate moments with a larger, more imposing Hulk figure.
