Ultraman Tiga is a giant of light from the Tokusatsu TV show Ultraman Tiga. He is a powerful alien being who defends Earth from monsters and other threats.
Tiga is unique among Ultraman in that he can change between three distinct forms: Multi Type (his default form), Power Type (specialized for strength), and Sky Type (specialized for speed). He gains access to these forms through the will of his human host.
His first appearance was in the pilot episode of the TV show, simply titled "Ultraman Tiga". He's since become one of the most popular Ultraman, noted for his design and story, representing a modern reinvention of the classic Ultraman formula.
