Darth Krayt, originally known as A'Sharad Hett, was a powerful Dark Lord of the Sith who lived long after the fall of the Galactic Empire. His first appearance was in the Star Wars: Republic comic series.
He began his life as a Jedi Knight, son of the renowned Jedi Master Sharad Hett. After surviving Order 66, he embraced the dark side after a period of wandering, and began to study Sith teachings.
Falling deeper into the dark side, he eventually became Darth Krayt, establishing the One Sith Order. He briefly served the Yuuzhan Vong when they came to invade the galaxy, but returned to build his own Sith empire.
Krayt's reign was characterized by brutal conquest and relentless pursuit of power. His ultimate goal was to reshape the galaxy under the rule of the Sith.
