Darth Krayt, originally known as A'Sharad Hett, was a powerful Sith Lord who lived long after the fall of the Galactic Empire. His first appearance was in *Star Wars: Republic* #49.
Hett was a human male raised as a Jedi Padawan. He was the son of Sharad Hett, a renowned Jedi Master who lived among the Tusken Raiders of Tatooine. After the Clone Wars, Hett became disillusioned with the Jedi Order and embraced the ways of the Sith, eventually adopting the name Darth Krayt.
As Darth Krayt, he founded the One Sith Order, a fanatical group devoted to his twisted vision of the Sith. He sought to conquer the galaxy and establish a Sith empire through ruthless means. Krayt was a skilled warrior and master of the dark side of the Force, capable of wielding powerful Sith techniques. He was ultimately defeated by Cade Skywalker, a descendant of Luke Skywalker.
