Darth Krayt, originally known as A'Sharad Hett, was a powerful Sith Lord in the Star Wars Legends continuity.
He first appeared in *Star Wars: Republic* issue #49. A'Sharad Hett was initially a Jedi Master and skilled warrior, born on Tatooine as the son of Sharad Hett, a famed Jedi who lived among the Tusken Raiders.
During the Clone Wars, A'Sharad fought bravely but grew disillusioned with the Jedi Order. After Order 66 and his capture, he embraced the dark side. He eventually emerged as Darth Krayt, founder of the One Sith Order, who sought to dominate the galaxy.
Krayt's reign was marked by ruthlessness and a desire to remake the galaxy in the Sith's image. His story includes resurrection and multiple clashes with Cade Skywalker.
