Darth Krayt, formerly known as A'Sharad Hett, was a powerful Sith Lord in the Star Wars Expanded Universe, specifically within the Legacy comic book series. His first appearance was in *Star Wars: Republic* #49.
Hett was a human male who began his life as a Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars. His father was a renowned Jedi Master. After surviving Order 66 and enduring a period of wandering and disillusionment, he embraced the dark side of the Force. This path led to his transformation into Darth Krayt, founder of the One Sith Order.
As Darth Krayt, he orchestrated a galactic war and briefly seized control of the galaxy. His reign was marked by brutality and an unwavering commitment to Sith ideals. He was eventually defeated by Cade Skywalker, a descendant of Luke Skywalker, marking the end of his tyrannical rule.
